That song performed by Poppycock and Donna Summers seemed way out of his style and only chosen to highlight her majesty. Sad that someone thought her so weak in her art that they had to choose such a selection.
It seems to me, who knows little of music, that there are a lot of 'crossovers'. I used to think Sinatra was popular and now I see him listed as jazz sometimes.
It can be very confusing for me, but thank you for clearing up that definition of 'opera'. I often wondered about how it is categorized.

You are quite welcome. As I said it's pretty confusing. It seems that perhaps the only true definition that may be left separating opera from musical theatre is that "if it's performed by an opera company then it's opera - otherwise it's musical theatre" That differentation MAY still stand as a definition of opera - but if you ask me it's pretty lame. Kind of like saying "if it's an egg, then it's an egg, if it's not an egg, then it's not an egg".
