What about Grandma Lee last year? She was very funny.

That was Gaboronne Sidibe's mother. Talent seems to run in that family. Everyone who sings that song sounds like Jo Stafford. This woman took it and made it her own style.

Some very good-to-excellent acts last night:

The young man who dressed up as ? and played a fantastic keyboard concerto........doubt it would make a Vegas act
The military guy who was a magician.....pretty amazing illision at that!
The kid with the indoor kite, but doubt it would make a Vegas act
AND, some pretty stupid acts as well!

That was the highlight of the night. Especially when Nick jumped in.

No, I actually think the highlight of the night was when that "air instrument" rock band played that Black Sabbath/Ozzy Ozborne song and Sharon loved it!!

I liked the kite guy.

I watch the auditions, but it REALLY ticks me off that there's no American judges on the show.

Portland is so weird, but I already knew that.
The kite kid was neat, but what else is he gonna do on stage? I like the kid that pulled the string out of his gut. Anyone that gives Nick the dry heaves is great!
My hubby said that his act is something that David Blaine does.

Sorry, I actually meant this year. This year they hadn't shown anyone over 70 with talent until the hand whistle blowin lady last night.
