Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe*filed a demolition permit for work on former Caretta’s Cafe

At least they are a semi local chain (Dallas based) & not Mexican food or another bank.

I've never been there but I've drove past by it on 59S in Sugar Land. That place looks like Joe's Crab Shack.

This is great news.

It gives Tyler another seafood and Cajun choice. Since Pappadeaux has not yet arrived, this place definitely gives the area a specialty stop.

yeah Razoos will be a nice touch to Tyler's eateries. If you like spicy food your love it.

Good for Tyler that means Longview might get one in 2 to 3 years lol. Johny Cases still top notch though!

Yeah, but Razoo's is going to put Fat Catz out of business just watch.

Tyler doesn't have the demographics to support a Korean store or restaurant. Its barely supporting a Pho restaurant as it is & there's way more Vietnamese here than Korean. The Thai place does well, but just about everyone knows Thai food or at least Pad Thai. Being near the university also helps draw the younger, "in the know" crowd in.

Does anyone know if the Fat Catz in Tyler is the same owner as the former Fat Katz in Terrell? That place made the best gumbo I ever ate anywhere including in New Orleans.
