What if after 9 months i decidxe to stop collecting and looking for work (claim, money)

will anything happen between me and the office on the benefits i have collected? I may just stop looking and decide to be a stay at home dad, which is a possibility since the wife works. I have had interviews but in the end no real success, i am on the fence about raising our kid (1 year old) and going back to career right away anyway.

I dont see anything happening, If you stop looking for work you just stop collecting and they will close your claim. If its in the same year you most likely will be able to reopen it if you feel like it.

I personally, would just keep sending my resume out to jobs that I am not qualified for and keep collecting the checks. There's no advantage of stop looking. Take the money, and put them into your child's college fund.

I don't get you. I made a suggestion that this father put away excess money for his child's education.... and you had the nerve to make it sound like a bad idea. You must be really deprived.
