If I quit a part time job through a a staffing agency,will NJ unemployment look into why I quit. I worked at the job about 6 weeks and my claim is still active.

Yes, indeed, they will inquire. And staffing agency will tell them it was a quit.

Are you sure, I have still been receiving partial benefits because of so few hours worked, and am on my first extension from last full time job.

If you report you are no longer working at all, they will want to know why. Everyone on this board reports that DOLs inquire whenever you go from some wages to none, even when you say it is temp. Even then, they will verify with your last employer circumstances of why you are no longer working. Be prepared. Also, these temp agencies pay UI tax - the DOLs do not ignore the temp agencies. They are considered employers.
