Ok I know you guys get this question all the time but I am so confused and I really need someones help.

So I believe I'm up to my tier 3. I did that whole calculate my weeks on the unemployment website. It said I'm allowed 73 weeks depending on my unemployment claim. This would be my 60th week. How can I figure how many more weeks because under my Maximum amount payable: it has the amount I was allowed and it's not moving every week I claim I get my benefits and the amount doesn't change. I live in the state of NY. Can anyone please help me? I would so appreciate it.

What, exactly, does the website say? What is the total dollar amount and your weekly benefit.

NYS is currently paying:

26 weeks state benefits
20 weeks EUC Tier 1
14 weeks EUC Tier 2
13 weeks EUC Tier 3
06 weeks EUC Tier 4

If you have collected 60 weeks' benefits, you should be starting Tier 3. It may be the online information is incorrect. Other NY claimants have reported adjustments to their online balance when they claim.

Since your available balance does not change when you claim, you need to call NY for more accurate information.

Ok thank you. It has the amount of what I collected for the year but the last 3 weeks the amount hasn't changed so it's so confusing. I guess I should call. I hate callin though thank you again

Please post on your original thread. I brought today's post over here to the thread you began yesterday.

So I looked up the benefits calculator cause its there and I figured why not right? When I did it, it said 73 weeks. And it broke it up like this

26 weeks of regular UI
20 weeks of EUC- Tier 1
13 weeks of EUC- Tier 2
14 weeks of EUC..

My question is where is Tier 3 & Tier 4? Can someone help me out cause I am seriously so confused?

I'm in the state of NY btw..
Ignore that calculator. It doesn't apply to you because yours is an older claim. Under current legislation, NEW claimants receive no more than 73 weeks.

NYS is still paying all four tiers per this:

Any other Qs, call NYS.
