My caregiver friend who recently lost her job is going to try to get the paid billing/coding training. The trouble with these jobs is no one hires you until you have experience... but wouldn't employers be more likely to hire from the job center since they get incentives?

Check and see if the school that she's going to go to has placement assistance. If they do, she'll be able to get interviews through the school, and possibly a job faster.
