I need help!! I received 5 weeks of payment from UI Mass. Put my request in for benefits this past weekend and said I would not be paid, on hold. Called today and the gentleman was all over the place telling me when I filed I selected discharged and my employer didn't have a unique id#:assigned to them but now all of a sudden they do & that an adjustor will be taking over the claim. I asked if there was someone I could speak to regarding what i need to do as I was never sent anything, nothing in my inbox etc. He stated it's not Amazon and theres nothing I can do. I have no idea what is going on. When you call the automated line it states according to Mass. law the employer is contacted for dates, wages, etc. This gentleman told me my employer was never contacted. How was I able to be approved/receive payment without them checking with my employer?

If your employment was with Amazon, you need to use the actual employer if working through one of their contract agencies.

It wasn't with Amazon. It's been 4 weeks now since they have received the information from the employer. Didn't realize they could pay you and then because of no fault of my own, stop paying me.

You don't know this. The employer might have just responded yesterday for all sorts of different reasons.

Who says you're blameless?

You need to focus on WHY you're not working there anymore, and stop complaining that your benefits got shut off. You're worried about the wrong thing.
