Can anyone tell me how this will affect my unemployment if for this two week period I make more than my weekly benefit amount

You report your income in the week you worked and EDD will calculate if you get all, some, or none of the benefits for that week. Unless you plan on doing this work for a month or more, continue claiming and reporting wages (even if it means $0 benefits) to avoid the dreaded "Claim Closed" that can take weeks to reopen. All this is in your claimants handbook/guide that you acknowledged reading when you first certified for benefits.
