If you worked in the past year you would file for a new claim.

Just to clarify...I work in a school cafeteria...I originally filed in June 2019 and returned to work when school opened Sept 2019. Then I stopped working in March 2020 due to COVID and schools closed. Do I qualify for the extension on June 30 2020 when my claim period ends or do I file a new claim ?
Thanks so much

theres a thread titled megathread NJ 13 week extension. All of us in this same boat have been updating commenting on that thread. If you are eligible for new UI claim with earnings from a new benefit year base period then you would file a new claim.
