I have a unique situation. I am in Pennsylvania. I was laid off from my first job, where the employer paid unemployment tax and insurance as usual. Then my husband hired me into his own company. IRS does not require unemployment insurance when spouse hires spouse, and thus, my husband did not pay unemployment insurance for my 2nd job. Two months later, the pandemic hit, and my husband's company had to lay off everybody including me. I am filing for UC now. I know I am qualified for UC if we only consider the first separation from my first job. Does the 2nd separation from my 2nd job that lasted 2 months with my husband's company affects my UC qualification and UC amount considering that unemployment insurance was not paid during my 2nd job? Thanks.
