My benefit year ended 12/20/20 and I was not eligible for a new claim once by EB ran out. I was eligible to continue PEUC 11 more weeks. My question is once PEUC runs out in April and the new bill passed do you think the new stimulus will extend unemployment for people like on their old claim or will I have to reapply and obviously be denied because I'm not eligible for a new one.

No use speculating until at least Pelosi releases a bill to be voted on in House.

Hey rod102988, what state are you in? Was your initial claim PUA or regular UI??

Anyhow the current stimulus being passed through Reconciliation just went from House committees to Senate. The reconciliation process takes longer as its much more complex. However, at the latest it should be passed by mid March. It includes extends unemployment until August and also includes a $400 Federal add on, per week.

States have differing rules, caveats & of course it differs by individual circumstance. However, part of the bylaws in the extensions so far specifically note "people that have exhausted all benefits." Considering you were eligible for the new PEUC, I am almost sure your benefits would in fact get extended with the new law...
