I'm confused. My CA EDD initial claim expired on Feb 20th. The EDD website states that I had until a Feb 21st deadline to make an extension claim, but there is another section that states it will be done automatically.
So today I receive my last check from my initial claim and at the top states this:
"You have received all the benefits payable on your claim. Since you may qualify for a new claim call the UI office immediately or visit the CA EDD website." Your claim balance after this payment is $XXXX.
I will contact them, but is there a chance that I missed this deadline and end up with nothing?
