This government wants to keep the poor POOR. A great form of control. No middle class anymore just the elite and the poor.

Fax attack taking place today and Monday.

Write something short and sweet and send it to them. It only takes about 15 minutes to get 6 free faxes out to the representatives of your choice. Do it today and Monday so we can be heard!

Just FYI -- they cannot make any additional weeks or Tier V retroactive because to do that those who exhausted their benefits would have had to continue registering as unemployed on a biweekly basis. The states are not set up to accept such registration, and to my knowledge no one who has exhausted available benefits has been instructed to continue registering.

No ongoing record of continuing unemployment, no benefits for those weeks.

That's why -- when they enacted Tiers III and IV -- those new benefits were not retroactive for those who had exhausted Tiers I and II weeks or months earlier.

Just curious where are the Jersey girls from and hard hit your very welcome, Just wish the Congress and Government felt the same way you do,but unfortunately they don't, It makes you really start doubting the Government when you have to fight for everything you have a right to. They rather cater to the rich than us who are struggling to survive so sad.

Senators and Representatives are listening. There is a group of 7 Senators who are fighting for unemployment extensions. Its harder to get Representatives positions but I even read a Republican's comments that it would be hard for them to vote against any stand alone unemployment bill.

If they can get past this using unspent stimulus game we could see something get done.
