I've spent (possibly wasted
) a lot of time on Google Earth since the program came out and I really enjoy it. Anyway, I'm pretty good at buzzing around the virtual planet, finding where I want to go, checking out sites and zipping around to look at various details.
Today I realized my "flight pattern" would look just like a UFO's .... covering tens of miles in seconds, making right angle turns, rapidly changing altitude and even just hovering motionless for a bit before jetting off to somewhere else while totally silent (well, minus the furious mouse clicking anyway!), without regard to the laws of physics and in a way that would seem totally random to someone else watching me from the "ground".
I don't know if it means anything but maybe... just maybe, we are living on a big "Google Earth" of sorts and UFOs are the bored office grunts who should be doing their work but are out "exploring the world" instead...
