Study Proves Extrasensory Mind-to-Mind Interaction at a Distance
A group of international neuroscientists and robotics engineers have discovered for the first time that human brains can indeed ‘talk’ directly to one another, even from thousands of miles away. Study Proves Extrasensory Mind-to-Mind Interaction at a Distance · The Mind Unleashed
I read something awhile back that talked about this being one of the technologies that is in the pipelines right now and will be out within the next 10 yrs, this will be the next thing to follow texting.
Some others are ability to email/ text tangible objects, and invisibility, cloaking technology
The mind interaction happened through the internet: you have the sender wired up on one end, and the receiver on the other end, and the communication happened via computers hooked up to the internet: "...computer-mediated brain-to-brain transmission from a location in India to a location in France..." Note that it's a triumph of technology that has nothing to do with the existence (or nonexistence) of telepathy (though with wireless tech you could end up with something looking a lot like it - a technological solution for telepathic communication).
Here's a TEDx talk by one of the researchers involved that gives some details on how it works for those interested:
