This is just another case of overlooking the obvious and pointing people in the direction of the mythical. Wind shear, down burst, microburst, microburst can and do damage trees all the time: https://www.weather.gov/cae/downburst.html. Of course we also have hurricanes, tornadoes and even strong dust devils. Trees can and will suffer from the strong winds; they can even be picked up and moved. In some places it could even be from flashfloods. There are many 'natural' ways trees can be damaged and no reason to assume any different - other than possible human intervention.
It amazes me how BF believers can document, with clear pictures and videos, tree damage; but they cannot get one clear shot of the animal they believe stalks our woods.
Tress that have no stumps to be found. The video was very technical in the information. Hey fishy did you watch the whole thing?
And trees get ripped off their stumps and deposited long distances away. There is absolutely no proof that there is anything at play other than nature or humans. Why would somebody even suggest otherwise without anything to back up their claim?
We have been over these issues so many times before. It is not up to me or any other skeptic to prove your claims or assumptions; it is up to you and your followers. It would be so easy, if they did exist, with so many cameras and DNA testing that was never available years ago. If a BF took down a tree or moved it; it would leave behind hair or DNA. That isn't happening. You claim that it is so expensive; but there are undergraduates that are believers and would love to test any good samples that you gave them.
I am not going to run out to Missouri; I used to drive through there twice a week on my way to CA and then back. There are many places I can go in the US and see things that do exist; like our State Parks and natural wonders. Besides, according to the BFRO website; my odds of seeing one of those creatures is just as good right where I am at!
So you didn't watch the video at all. I consider that this fact rules you out as qualified comment until you do.
The guy in the video points to a tree that has damage at the top. It has a larger tree leaning on it that caused the damage! He makes statements like: "That's really odd" - give us a break; it does not mean mythical creature! You don't have one picture of a mythical beast taking down one of these trees. Without proof; we have to fall back and accept what is known: wind, rain, flooding, and other trees will take down trees.
You always respond that it's my fault for not coming out or not doing this or that; but I am not the one making these claims. You and your circle are making these claims and all we have to go on is your word. Boy and Girl Scouts sit around campfires and tell tall tails all the time. I get calls from telemarketers all the time promising me great sales. What makes your stories more believable; where is the hard evidence (hairs, scat, DNA)?
It's definitely interesting. Is it evidence of Bigfoot? Just as much as it is evidence of *trolls and elves, I think. Until further evidence comes to light, this remains a UTF (Unidentified Tree Formation).

I took many trips up and down I-59 in Mississippi after Katrina. It was unbelievable what that hurricane did to all those Southern Pines. It looked like a giant rotary mower cut many of them off about ten or fifteen feet from the ground. Years later there were still plenty of blue tarps over the rooves all along the coast. It was unbelievable the devastation those poor people went through in the hurricane.
Maybe hurricane winds do not get up into Missouri; but I do know that they get a fair share of twisters - I just missed a few of them. If mother nature wants to bend, twist, or break off and throw; we cannot stop it.
