It's about 1,200 ft. from the nearest dirt road in one direction and 1,800 ft. from that same dirt road in another direction (see below). They are estimating it was "installed" between August 2015 and October 2016 going by satellite images.

It took me about 5 minutes to find it on Google Maps, just by using a single picture from an article and knowing which county it was in.

That's Top Secret and on a need to know basis!

Just type in "Utah Metal Monolith" into the search field on Google Maps and it takes you right there.

Out where virtually NO ONE will likely see it?

I used Google maps (No street views). You can only scroll so far in. It shows a tiny glimpse of the object. It's right out in the middle of nowhere. If this thing was hauled out there, it'd take some serious doing on foot to get to the location from the nearest narrow dirt road (more like a trail). Maybe it was hauled in by helicopter. I kind of wonder if it's hollow. Tapping it with a hammer should tell if it's hollow or solid.

Its 2020. I would not suggest tapping it with a hammer. Last thing we need is a portal to open and some Lovecraftian horror coming out of it.
