Searching for youtube video's is not research, it watching videos and posting links. Have you read any true scientific papers, or just video snippets and blogs.

Mainstream science: There is no evidence of ETs visiting Earth.
Religions: We haven't found ET, but it is OK to believe in such beings (keep in mind that these folks worship non-Earth beings in the sky).
The Military: We have visual and radar confirmation of intelligently controlled crafts that can out perform us and disable our nukes; yet our official airforce policy is that UFOs are no threat to National security.
Then there is the political side of this which is just as split as the others, yet some politicians are speaking out...
And for those of you that have "issues" with youtube clearly haven't been watching any of these videos. The majority of the videos I post are news reports that were uploaded onto youtube. You can find printed versions from sources like the NY Times and Washington Post on many of these videos. Without youtube or google video, how else can one share these news stories? I am open to suggestions...

You make excellent points. and yes people need to understand that these are indeed youtube videos but you are posting news reports and not home made youtube clips.
There are many things in nature that at one time was not accepted by mainstream science. Its a lesson we must learn. Just because something has not been proven, doesn't mean its not real no matter how unbelievable it may seem. I blame Hollywood for all the skepticism because all those science fiction flying saucer movies have conditioned our minds into not accepting the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation. Most people agree there is other life and even intelligent life somewhere in the universe. They just have a problem with believing they have come to earth. We can't assume that we are the most intelligent creatures in the Universe and we must entertain the notion that some life out there might be thousands of years more advanced than us in technology. They may have technology so advanced, they have bypassed "our known" laws of physics. The universe is a big place. So big in fact our minds can't even comprehend it. We have no clue whats out there. We're like a fish in the deep sea ocean. Those fish have no idea there is a surface world above them teaming with different forms of life. Life can exist under different conditions. Fish can breath in oxygen through water. We can't. Some life forms in the universe may breath in carbon dioxide. Earth is not THE template for life in the universe. We need to get out of the mindset that we are at the center of the universe.

This is the kind of evidence we are talking about. Not random photos and youtube videos of "UFOs" in the sky which can be faked by anyone. When you have radar data showing intelligent craft performing maneuvers that seems to defy the laws of physics, you have to start taking this seriously.

Not to sound like a pessimist, but we'll see just how seriously this special is taken by the media. The truth is that UFO researchers have had radar evidence and such for decades now. This is nothing new. Dr. J. Allen Hynek admitted on camera that UFOs were real back in the 1970s.
