Olympic Football Ticket Sales (Old Trafford) (purchase, train, rain)

Hi, I'm an American who is currently in London until July 26, at which point I'll be in Manchester for the following week. Would anyone happen to know whether I am able to purchase tickets for Old Trafford directly from LOCOG at the Olympic Village?

I've read on the website that football tickets are "now on general sale," but I am unsure of whether that means I would still need to be a British resident to purchase from LOCOG.

Thanks for that - found out it wouldn't have been possible for me to make those purchases - I think it's a bit silly since they've had to withdraw as many football tickets as they have - but fortunately I got lucky on Gumtree and am on the train up to Manchester as I type this!
