It would be weird if Northern Ireland was still part of the UK if Scotland wasn't, and they're never going to rejoin Ireland, so why not join Scotland? They're half Scottish/Scandinavian anyway and they have Scottish accents so why not?
I think that Northern Ireland is happy to be a member of the British Commonwealth, Protestant, and Independent....I doubt there would be any support to alter that status....and to give up independence. Unless there were some overwhelming economic rational.....that I am unaware of.
Though I don't want any independence happening in the UK... I queses at the end of the day it should be up to the people of Northern Ireland to decide, as much as it's up to the people of Wales to decided, and Scotland has to decide...
I'm an Englishman, so I will be biased and tell you that the Union is better together. But if Scotland decides to leave, Wales and NI decide for a referendum, then good luck to them!

The Irish and Scottish are the same genetically even in the South and the Northern Irish have just as much ancestry from the South as they do with Scots. If you want an example of what rubbish this all is I even have Scots names in my ancestry. All the people on the British Isles are very closely genetically related. The divisions were created for political reasons and to suit the people in power.

Scandinavian...
I don't know if you've heard about this things called Troubles over being British or Irish... Now most people seem to agree to put it to rest for a while. Do you think they would be interested in joining Scotland? Do you think there is huge grassroots support for that? Really?
