I'd prefer the English countryside but if I had to choose, anywhere the rich don't live lol.

Kensington/Chelsea used to be considered the 'playground' of the rich - my grandad was from Kensington though and rich he certainly wasn't!

Holland Park, it’s where the Beckham’s live, their home is gorgeous. Elton John and Simon Cowell also live there.

The thing that's funny is, the old maxim holds true.

If you have to ask which area of London do the filthy rich live, you can't afford to live there.

Personally I'm with Dave, if I could afford it, I'd live in the Savoy, 24 hour 5 star everything, cleaning, laundry, and a suite you can put your stuff in, I'm particularly fond of the 2 bed suites on the 6th Floor.

The stage star Elaine Stritch lived in the Savoy for years, for the very reasons you say Gungnir. A beautiful suite, and 24 hour anything she needed. I think I read all she owned were her clothes, and a rug for the floor of her suite.

I'd rather have Richard Harris's old flat on the upper floor.
I'd live there so I'd have less distance to travel for the annual ritual I have with my oldest chum and best man of a bottle of Pol Roger in the American Bar and dinner down the street in Smollensky's.
Sadly Smollensky's is now closed and we adjourn instead to The Wolesley.

Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Mayfair and Chelsea and Kensington.

Hampstead, Highgate and Totteridge on the Northern Line.

Richmond Upon Thames and Coombe Hill to the South.

The Home Counties are also full of big houses and private estates such as Wentworth and St Georges Hill.
