Rosco this is a much bigger story than some seem to realize, its the damage this man has did to the Tory party and to Boris.. I had pinned my hoped on Johnson to be a good leader..sadly now it looks as if hes holding on to Cummings coatails and cant seem to focus without the man.. Have you seen how much Boris s popularity has slumped.. thats of course nonsense too..

most popular person in GB. According to the search result it is David Attenborough

if he had made same trip as Cummings would there be an uproar? Remember Cummings is not an elected MP

If Britain IS a laughing stock then it's all thanks to the press and their ridiculous witch hunt. The rest of the world is probably concentrating on 'real' newsworthy stories!

He didn't cheat the system though did he? Of course its a 'witch hunt' because quite frankly as far as world news goes this is nothing, yet we are subjected to it relentlessly. I mean seriously who cares if some bloke went for a drive or a walk! Don't you think there are rather more important issues going on in this world that the UK press should be reporting on?

He did cheat the system and then lied and made up some ridiculous excuse about his eyesight, he is a fraud who thinks everyone listening is a cretin.

He deserves to be sacked, simple as that - shall we imagine if it was DIANE ABBOTT who did it? What everyone's tone would be then? Yeah, that's right!

Why can't we get rid of him? No-one voted for him, he isn't even a member of the ruling party of government. All he is, is an unelected spin doctor steering the ship for the thickoes in charge - BJ, Raab, Pritti Patel and the rest - they don't know their elbow from their arsehole - as they try to muddle their way through Brexit. They're going to need his services for next month as they explain to the population why they have accepted an extension to negotiations with the EU until 2022.

Anyway, and to quote the Morning Star - Johnson sacking Cummings would be like Emu sacking Rod Hull!

Why because he wrote the damn rules and twisted them to suit himself. these exceptional circumstances were for children at risk in homes with physical or sexual abuse not for some banger who says he panicked.......hes bloody running the country and he panicked and ran off to Durham.. with a wife who had suspected corona... come on .its a five hour journey.. and the wee boy would also be put at more risk in a car if this was true about the mother being ill.. Now forty tories want him out and hes still here.. What is more important than our PMs chief advisor and string puller.. making a mockery of the rest of us.. at such worrying times.. He had three relatives living close to him in London who he could have approached if so worried about childcare.. for christ sake the mans unreal.. an egotistical elitist who does it his way.

14000 people in the UK have been arrested and charged for lockdown violations - the reality is that Cummings should have been arrested and charged for breaking the law. What has been the mantra again? Stay at home, protect the NHS.

Though I would like to see him arrested and charged, his resignation will do nicely and hopefully, none of us have ever have to see him again.

I am all for Cummings resigning, but only if others who broke the lockdown and didn't have an emergency involving children also resign.

SNP MP Ian Blackford travelled 600 miles from London to Skye during the Lockdown, stating the virus was more prevalent in London, but thereby putting the people of Scotlkand at risk.

Labour MP Stephen Kinnock drove over 200 miles to attend his father Lord Kinnock's Birthday during the Lockdown, again there was not even an emergency as in the Cummings case.

Conservative MP Rob Roberts had a Birthday Party broken up by police during the lockdown at his home, although he claims he wasb't there.

Labour MP Tahir Ali was criticised for "endangering lives" by attending a large funeral and ignoring coronavirus lockdown measures.

Labour MP for North West Durham Kevan Jones, also attended a party during the lockdown.

Keir Starmer attacked after demanding Cummings resign - Express

I am sorry but where are the resignations or does this just apply to Cummings.
