Nancy Pelosi is destroying what remains of the special relationship, and its time the UK PM officially declared the one sided relationship dead.
Has Nancy forgotten that of the 900 odd European troops that died during the war on terror, 636 were British.
Is it time for US bases to be closed in Britain and for the Prime Minister to officially call the Special Relationship dead, as this seems to be the case with the current US administration.
I think most Brits like myself increasingly feel US forces have outlived their welcome, and that US interference in our domestic politics, which was started by Obama needs to end.
It just amazes me how US politicians can be so thick and stupid, then again with the likes of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris nothing should be a surprise.
Even before the this latest disgusting disgrace by Pelosi, only 19% of British people believed there was a special relationship with the US.
If this carries on, and regardless of the situation in Ukraine, there musy be a review of our relationship with the US and this must include US bases in Britain.

In a stark message, Pelosi had branded the PM's threat to axe the protocol 'deeply concerning'.
And she insisted there is no chance of the US Congress support a free trade pact with the UK if the Good Friday Agreement is undermined.
The intervention will set alarm bells ringing in Downing Street after months of efforts to convince Joe Biden's White House that the protocol is the source of rising sectarian tensions in the province.
American diplomats are generally advised to employ the term ‘Special Relationship’ to describe US-UK relations, with the traditional view being that Britons feel slighted if the term isn’t used.
But British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is said to dislike it, finding it ‘needy’ - he says he would call the connection an ‘indestructible relationship’ instead.
Nevertheless, President Joe Biden has used the phrase ‘Special Relationship’ more than once since arriving in Cornwall, England for the G7 – perhaps reflecting the fact that four in ten Americans (40%) say that the UK and the US do have a particular bond and a ‘special relationship’.
This is, however, twice as many as the 19% of Britons who say the same.
Britons are more likely to regard the two countries as close allies, but that the relationship between the two is not necessarily ‘special’ - 48% say this, compared to 32% of Americans.
A further 20% of Britons don’t even think the countries are that close anymore, an opinion with which just 8% of Americans agree.
The bipartisan US CoDel that's in London today will tell Liz Truss which direction to set her compass. If necessary Nancy and Joe, and maybe Mitch too will whip BoJo's sorry ass.
Wait! What? I thought we had trouble with our long-time friends and allies because Trump.
No, actually, Trump was pretty good at foreign relations.
Trump has been out of office for nearly two years now, it is time to stop blaming everything on him and take some responsibility for what has been done since he left office. He is most certainly not responsible for anything that comes out of Pelosi's mouth.

Trump was awful at foreign relations, and managed to annoy or flat out anger just about all of our long term allies.
The bigger issue that's the root of all of this is the horrible decision by the UK to leave the EU, while conveniently forgetting that Northern Ireland has a land border with an EU country, and that trying to reinstate checks and such along that border would reactivate the still simmering tensions between Catholics and Protestants in Ulster.
Pelosi is an Italian American Catholic with ties, I presume, to Irish American Catholics who have always been involved in the issues in Ulster. She should probably stay out of this, but can't, because a portion of her base is pushing for action.

The UK leaving the EU and UK internal politics are UK issues and nothing to do with Pelosi or the US.
Lord Frost has already told Pelosi to butt out and labelled her both interfering and ignorant.
A number MP's in Parliament will also be furious at Pelosi and the US administration.
Isn't it time both Joe and Nancy, went in to a retirement home, she's 82 and he's now spring chicken at 78.
As for a trade deal the UK will just wait for the next US administration, which is only a couple of years away in 2024, whilst I think Pelosi will be ousted following the mid-terms in November.
So other than annoying the British people and the British Government, as well as putting a further strain on relations, Pelosi has achieved nothing.
The Special Relationship is now in tatters, and Pelosi just stirs Anti-American sentiment wherever she goes.

Just hold your nose. This idiot and her party will be voted out in Nov 2022. She is one of the worst speakers we have ever had.

That was my point.
