A ROW has erupted after the committee of MSPs governing the Scottish Parliament declined to fly the Israeli flag outside the Holyrood building.
The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB), which is made up of four MSPs and the presiding officer Alison Johnstone, refused a Conservative request for the Israel flag to be flown outside parliament.
It comes after Hamas launched an unprecedented assault on Israel from Gaza over the weekend, killing and kidnapping civilians. On Wednesday, Israeli authorities said the death toll had reached 1200 people, with at least 2700 more wounded.
The SNP look increasingly likely to be replaced by Labour in Scotland, and Labour is doing well in Scotland following the recent by-election win.
The SNP is mired in corruption sandals, whilst Humza Yousaf, a Muslim and leader of the SNP, is an unpopular leader of an increasingly unpopular party.
If devolved Governments and local authorities want to pass stupid motions in relation to flags or try to play at international politics then that's up to them, the best thing to do is to vote for someone else at the next local/Scottish elections.

SNP is a disgusting party that is playing (has always played) on stereotypical 'hatred', it champions the 'Scottish people hate the English' ideology that the world plays on, it is however I believe taking it too far, even for some of the most nationalistic English hating Scots.
And apart from that as a local government it is failing miserably for its electorate! Probably because the only policy it really has is its 'anti British' policy.
Surely at some point even the most patriotic English hater in Scotland must vote for his/her own welfare above nationalism?

The SNP/Greens are the most regressive, radical woke, anti-woman, anti-gay - now anti-Israel - bunch of fools I've witnessed in the entire anglosphere.

I think the refusal to fly the Israeli flag is a matter of diplomacy and government buildings in any country do not fly the flag of a foreign nation at war when it does not involve that particular country ie in this case Scotland

Who are you kidding.. the SNP have all their own agendas... the Israeli flag is flying over 10 Downing st... ... the flag of Ukraine was flown in Glasgow by the SNP..
