What is Keir Starmer labour leader all about.. has he forgotten its almost Rememberance Day for the many who fell during wars here in Britain.. or is he pandering to others..

Keir Starmer is facing questions today after removing his remembrance poppy before making a video attacking islamophobia against British Muslims, despite wearing one hours beforehand at a speech on Gaza.

The Labour leader proudly wore the red flower in his lapel on Tuesday morning as he repeated his opposition to a ceasefire in the bloody conflict between Israel and Hamas.

But in the video filmed hours later it was missing from his suit jacket as he made a statement for Islamophobia Awareness Month.

Amid anger from Labour members, many of them Muslim, over his stance on the fighting in the Middle East, he said that a resent 'surge' in Islamophobia in the UK was 'devastating'.

A Labour spokeswoman said: 'It was absolutely not a deliberate decision, and is in no way linked to the content of the video.'

But former British Army officer turned explorer Levison Wood said: 'Keir Starmer should explain why he has worn a poppy in front of one group of people, but taken it off in front of another.

No, but one should not get offended if someone does not have one for whatever reason.

Well it's a good job that you are in Australia then isn't it.

Although you never miss an opportunity to come here and to put this country down.

As for Starmer that's up to him, and tbh I don't relish five years of woke Labour rule, more mass immigration and tax hikes, and lets not forget the fact that the former Labour Leader Tony Blair took us in to an illegal war in Iraq killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. I would call that the biggest misrule in relation to any post WW2 British Government, although Labour's mass nationalisation and political ineptitude during the post war decades takes some beating.

Sir Keir Starmer was not a good DPP, and eroded a lot of our freedoms and free speech during his tenure, and in terms of the last Labour Government they bought in a lot of draconian legislation, and have a lot more waiting in the wings.

Starmer is also having problems in relation to Labour's deep divide over Gaza and Israel, with the party having a recent history of Anti-Semitism which was highlighted in numerous official reports, with the Labour party still riddled with the far left types who basked in the hard left leadership of the previous Marxist communist leader Jeremy Corbyn and his right hand man John McDonnell, with his copy of Chairman Mao's 'Little Red Book' and his praise of Marx and even Stalin. It all so should be noted that Starmer was actually a front bench cabinet minister who was happy to go along with these lunatics.

Furthermore anyone who believes Britain will be better served by the likes of Starmer of David Lammy or Diane Abbott or Emma Thornberry or the never ending list of useless hard left characters in the Labour party of off their meds.

Then again you won't be having to suffer any of that, and can just tell us all how we should live, whilst launching constant negative attacks on this country, a country that you clearly hate.

You won't have to suffer being taxed out of your car through ULEZ or other higher taxes or proposed draconian legislation including prison sentences for misgendering individuals or numerous other such idiotic proposals, but you can lecture all of us on what we should do and how bad our country is, that is when you become bored of the Australian forum.

In terms of Australia, New Zealand, Canada or America etc I have no wish to become involved in their domestic politics, as that's an issue for the people of those countries, and I have no view when it comes to the Australian political parties and I don't go to the Australian forum to make up nonsense regarding the health service (which like the UK is not looking to introduce a US type system), our transport system or other domestic policies or to to revel in negativity, or to attack their international trading and other agreements etc.
