I've put this in the UK forum because I don't know if things are different across the pond.
If a plumber broke something in your house in the process of trying to mend something else, say a major fitting in the bathroom, would you expect him to pick up the tab, or would you expect to have to fork out yourself just as part of the job?
I'm not sure it's a costly enough bit of damage to be worth all that, but thanks for the info anyway.
If you have problems with him it`s cheaper than you might think..I haven`t had to recourse to it in a few years, but it was only about £25 to register a claim..The letter they get from the court is usually enough to make them cough up...
