I think it is Valparaiso, Indiana. I drove up once from Indy to see a basketball game there.

Yes, Bellagio, Lombardy, Italy on a peninsula in the middle of scenic Lake Como. The building on the far left is the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, where I was fortunate enough to stay many years back on my Honeymoon. I can see the room where we stayed. Yesterday was the anniversary day of my engagement. I still think this area is one of the most beautiful on earth.

There is one venue "Villa del Balbianello" in Lake Como which is popular amongst Rich Indians like Bollywood / Cricket players. Every few months some high profile wedding happens there. Always some Indian TV channels and journalists trying to take pics from a distance in the lake.

Agreed that Lake Como area is quite beautiful. Here’s a place somewhat less so...

Hey, let’s no go knocking Bratislava, Slovakia, which can be lovely on a nice sunny day. . It may not have the parochial splendor of a Melk, Austria, or the International flavor of Vienna, or the cosmopolitan Hapsburg splendor of Budapest, but it certainly “ain’t no” Belgrade on the cruise down the Danube...

The folks I know from there are still fiercely proud of their Slovak heritage, and make it a point to separate from “Chechia,” but still willingly acknowledge they are a suburb of Vienna.
