Would the planners you work with also want to boot Betty and Dave from their home?

Let me clarify:

Mass... said the planners he works with support the high density development. My question is do they also support eminent domain to take Betty and Dave's home for additional high density development.

I think the urban planners were mostly on the sidelines of this one, so maybe their opinion isn't so important after all. There is definitely an erosion of property rights in many coastal cities, but this example* where ownership was awarded to a group of squatters is probably the most blatant. If I were a property owner I would take extra measures to make sure my building was hard to break into and also adding an alarm system so the break-in would be caught right away. Ironically the moms in this case took over a building that was going to house a non-profit for at risk youth. I guess the moms felt more deserving, aka self-serving.

* that was not a case of adverse possession which can be done within the legal system
