When cities had a defense purpose, circular cities made all the sense in the world - highest amount of defended area per yard of city wall. Now, not so very much.

they make sense now that our power grid is getting old. you could put power in the center of the city like a free energy generator.

and no one can make this city 3d so this thread was pointless.

You want to put the powerplant in the center of the city? Isn't that where public spaces like theater, stadiums, etc and or major stores should be? Places you want the public to visit/attend should be?
