Well I've decided I'm ready for a change and will be making the move to either Logan or Ogden before the snow bird season hits hard here in Tucson. I'm a male, mid twenties looking to continue work as a mechanic but can get by in any type of manufacturer job if need be. I'm pretty much settled on either Ogden or Logan for the low cost of living and not wanting to move to a huge city. I'm into the average stuff guys my age are into, kind of a homebody. What do you guys think of these two cities and how do they differ? Thanks.

Never lived in Ogden, but went to school at USU, and we loved Logan. I would love to move back there at some point. However, Ogden might have more going on for young single guys.

Default Ogden!

Logan is a college and agricultural town. Ogden will have the jobs you are looking for.

Both of the above posts are correct. Logan is a college town with more. Ogden is much larger and does probably have the jobs. I wouldn't personally live in Ogden. I'd either live in Layton/Syracuse/Kaysville area or Brigham City.

Mostly, I'd have a solid job offer before I moved.

Good Luck,

MSR
