I was wondering about how salary checks work after someone quits. I understand salary means you get paid salary no matter how many hours are worked. But if I quit my job and give two weeks notice but don't work until the end of the "pay period" do I still get paid my entire salary amount or will it be less?

Very few places of work pay at the day right after your pay period.
Most probably a week later or so.

If you thus give two weeks notice, then you get your last paycheck about a week after your last working day ...

Give the HR department a call and ask ?

You will not get the whole month but you should get paid for all the days you did work in that month.

BTW, you did give two weeks notice.
Did you then just walk out without *settling* everything else with the HR department.
What about left over vacation days ? Health insurance ? Non disclosure etc ?

I didn't get health insurance at that job and I only worked for the two weeks notice. I meant it's been a month since my last day there,April 7th, and I have not received my last check. I did not just walk out and I didn't get vacation.

The only thing I can tell you is to call the HR department of that place of work and find out !

A lot of companies have a formal procedure for checking out on your last day of work. You meet with the HR person or your boss, and turn over things like keys, badges, and company documents. Sometimes, a check is cut with your final wages and handed to you on your way out the door.

Otherwise, I would expect to receive my final paycheck on whatever the next payday should have been. Definitely follow up and find out what the delay is!

But my main question was will I get the full pay for the weeks I worked. I'm thinking I won't because I quit but my parents say since it's a job that's not hourly but it's salary I should still be paid the same. But I'm not sure how it all works.

Only the HR department of the place where you worked can tell you what will happen.

You should get paid for the days you worked. You likely won't get paid for the days you didn't work - salaried doesn't mean you get paid regardless of whether you work, it means you get paid the same for each day of work, regardless of how many hours you put in (unless the company has a policy that says you have to work X amount of hours for it to count as a working day).

Call the HR department and ask them where your check is, when you'll receive the money, and any other questions about how much the check will be for.
