Hello,
My husband and I are a couple in our twenties looking to move from California to Utah. I am interested in Utah County because we visited Utah a couple years ago and I thought it was beautiful (we liked park city, but our budget is more modest). He is a nurse and I am a teacher, so we don't necessarily need to live closer to a city.

We are interested in moving to Utah because we eventually would like to start a family and I'm not really interested in raising my kids with the ideals present in California. We are not LDS, but have no problem living around people with those beliefs. Being a little isolated is okay, because we are the types of people to have close friends and close family members and be satisfied with that.

Knowing a little background about us, what place would you suggest moving to? I would enjoy having some stores close by, and some nice places to eat. My husband would probably be happy anywhere that doesn't have severe winters. Thank you!

How about you visit again in the dead of winter ?

January is usually pretty cold with average overnight temps of 22 degrees F. and in the low 40's during the day ...
