I know this is a long shot. I found a large wallet tonight in the middle of Duke of Gloucester Street. I’m guessing the person was going to the lighting of the crescents or a late tour because it had to fall out after dark or someone would have noticed it before almost 10:00 pm. The street is very dark. You wouldn’t see it if you didn’t step on it. I stupidly glanced through it for a phone number but saw none and panicked with all the credit cards, bank cards, drivers license, etc. I called the Williamsburg police dept. He took it but said nobody called in about losing it. I’m wishing I’d remember the name. I just remember the city on the drivers license and the policeman mentioning she was born in 68 because I thought maybe it was a student. He said tourist probably. There was a church of Latter Day Saint membership card in it. This woman has to be sick having no idea where she lost it. It’s with the Williamsburg police dept.

I find this post interesting. You likely had the address in your hand. The police likely have the address in their hands, but you take to a somewhat obscure thread on City Data to find the person?

Maybe a FB page for Cedar City, Nextdoor, even the local Craigslist would be better.
