My wife and I are considering moving our family to northern Utah. Going to take a week off and check out a few towns. Just checking if anyone has recommendations, or any info positive or negative about any areas up there. I do heating and air conditioning so finding employment should not be too difficult. We have 5 kids. Non-mormon but we are religious. Thanks in advance for any info.

What budget are you looking for? What kind of social aspect? Are you looking for surburban? Rural? City living? It’s hard to pinpoint recommendations without knowing a few specifics. Will you be seeking employment or are you self employed? What kind of commute time are you ok with?

Thx for the reply. Suburban or rural, 600k is about our max. Hopefully within 45 min of decent size city where I could get work.

I live in Stansbury Park, which is surburban-y/rural. It’s a nice planned community with decent schools and a very safe area for kids. It’s about 30 minutes west of Salt Lake and there are several HVAC companies out here that you could probably find a job with.

Many of our homes are under $600k, although it’s a pretty desirable area so prices are climbing fast.
