Hi, all. My hubby and I are going to be coming down to Tuacahn over the weekend of the 4th. This is an annual thing for us, and I can't recommend Tuacahn highly enough. It seems like every year we stay somewhere different. On Saturday morning, my husband heads out to play a round of golf. I don't golf, so I'm left alone in the room. I can go down to the pool, but with him gone for nearly six hours, I get pretty bored. This year, I want to stay somewhere near a little bit of action (action = shopping opportunities). I really don't know St. George all that well, even though we do this trip every year. The motel doesn't need to be close to Tuacahn. Any suggestions? (I know most of you won't actually have stayed in any of the motels you might be aware of. Don't worry about that. I can check them out. I just want some names.)

Depends on what kind of shopping you like. If you want outlet centers and a mall, Red Lion by the Freeway would be walking distance of Zion Factory Outlets, but not the Red Cliffs Mall, look here.

If you like funky little shops, the area by the Best Western Coral Hills is on the old main street of St. George.

Wow,

We are going down to stay in our second home in Ivins on the weekend of the Fourth and we will be seeing the play "Cats" at Tuacahn.

If you want to stay near the shopping at the outlet malls at the northeast end of town, I can recommend the Ramada Inn.

We may run into each other.

Mark

I like anywhere that will take my money, but the funky little shops do sound tempting. Thanks!

Cool! So are your tickets for Saturday, July 3? That's when ours are for. I saw their production of Cats three or four years back. It was great. I'm kind of surprised they're doing it again so soon, but I'm not complaining. It will be great! I seriously wish more people knew about Tuacahn. As far as I'm concerned, it beats the Shakespeare Festivan hands down -- as far as the non-Shakespearean plays go.

Our tickets are for Saturday night. My wife informs me that we are going to be in the center part of the center section. Its the first time we've seen a play at Tuacahn and I'm excited. Although, I have seen the empty theater before.

We're taking our ten year old daughter with us. If you see two middleaged parents and a ten year old girl sitting together its probably us.

Shssssshhhh about Tuacahn. I'd like to keep one of the best secrets in this state that way We've been to the Shakespeare Festival too. However, its been many years.

Uh huh. I'm sure you're going to be the only two middle-aged people there with a ten-year-old daughter. I'll be sure to pick you out with no problem!

Seriously, I'd really love to meet you. My tickets are at will-call right now and I can't remember the exact location, but as I recall, they are somewhere around row 8 - 10, dead center. I pretty much look like everybody else (5'5" tall, medium blond hair cut short), but my husband is easy to spot. He's about 6'2", 230 pounds, black hair and a black beard. If you think you spot us, please say something. And enjoy the play. It will be outstanding. They always are.
