After a cross country move from Houston Texas, I have been rather frustrated in my search for one of my favorite beers. It is a Mexican beer called SOL. I know that this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but I've used this forum for just about every other aspect of my moving decision... So why not this? has anyone seen my SOL?

It's right next to the Dos Equis, Corona, Tecate, Pacifico, and Modelo.

Just kidding, try a Mexican restaurant, or a ghetto or large liquor store. I'd find it hard to believe you couldn't find Sol in greater PDX.

Try contacting a local beer distributor to see where they stock it. I've also heard others mention that Woodland has a large Mexican population. Good luck...

Have you tried By The Bottle? Give them a call or stop in. It's got a great selection of beer.

Another place to try is Bi-Lo Mart on Highway 99 at 88th St, kiddy corner from WalMart. It's a dumpy looking place, but they have an amazing variety of beer inside. It's in a fairly Mexican part of town, so they may carry it.

Try just about any tiny family owned "stop n rob". You'll most likely find only the 32oz bottles, and on rare occasion sixxers or half cases.
