It's a pretty big zip, so I'm not sure there's a single answer. I really only have familiarity with the southern part of that. Lots of newer developments around the mall and SR-500 - mix of apts/condos and single family homes. Targeting families who either are or want to feel middle-class mostly though I'm sure there's some more affordable housing tucked in there.

I'm sure the northern part of the zip is slated for development somewhere down the road, but for now I think it's still much less dense and on the edge of being 'rural' up by Brush Prarie.

I'm over by Prairie HS (SR-503/NE 119th St). My house was built in 2001; I've been there since 2005. Ground is being broken to pave way for the 3rd new sub-division since I've moved it. They also built an apartment complex in 2007. This isn't a huge area either: between NE 99th St and NE 119th Street as the N-S boundaries and 115th Avenue to roughly 107th Avenue as the East-West.

The only positive thing about these new houses is my property value has stopped dropping and is climbing back up.

That is still a pretty big area (Green Meadows to Van Mall) with diverse homes / building age / and neighborhoods

You should be fine.
Are you buying or renting?
is this a home or apartment?
