I Want to presale a condo. Now I have 2 options one called Hunter in North Vancouver and the other one Akimvo in Brentwood area. I can’t decide which one has a better future like in 3 or 4 years. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance
Brentwood is super hot right now and is far more connected to the rest of Metro Vancouver than North Van. It really is right in the dead center of the part of GVRD that is North of Fraser, reasonably close to downtown, SFU and Metrotown. I have no stake in Brentwood (live in Kits) but that's where I expect investment dollars to probably do better. North Van still remains a bit remote and I think will be more sensitive to a housing correction than Burnaby.
As someone working in real estate and having sold in and around the Brentwood area as well as North Van i would still lean towards Brentwood for one simple reason: greater accessibilty and closer proximity to downtown Vancouver. The congestion on either north shore bridges makes it very challenging to additional growth in North Vancouver.
