Thanks for the link, it explains why all those items were able to pass through without issue but the beef patties being the exception, when asked about them of course.

Yes, there are gangs headquartered in some parts of metro Surrey just like there are gangs and drug abuse in every city in the world. Gangs are a fact of life no matter where in the world you may go but Surrey as a whole is not a dangerous place to live in. If it was truly dangerous it wouldn't be growing so rapidly and attracting as many newcomers as it does. It's a very big, sprawling, spread out, spacious region with no ghettoes, it has a lot of multicultural diversity, populated with mostly good-hearted, honest, ordinary people from all walks of life. Surrey is mainly composed of a lot of good, prosperous, rapidly growing communities, urban developments and businesses, as well as lots of natural resources and parks, agricultural and manufacturing industries. If you are considering Surrey as a potential location don't be afraid of it because of what you have read about gangs.
