I am an American citizen and I was wondering what is highest educated city in Canada? In the United States San Francisco and Seattle are the highest top 2 educated cities in the United States. Since these cities are close to BC, I am guessing that Vancouver is the most educated city in Canada.

Ottawa usually appears at or near the top. Lots of government jobs for scientists, researchers, etc.

In Canada, all of these stats can be found from the Stats Canada website:

Statistics Canada: Canada's national statistical agency / Statistique Canada : Organisme statistique national du Canada

It contains all kinds of census data about every part of the country. If you're looking for facts, this is where you'd go. Unfortunately, City-Data - this website, is only a useful resource for obtaining city data on American cities, not Canadian cities.

Note that the last Canadian census was taken in 2006, the next one will be in 2011.
