Then teach, don't preach. Inform, don't belittle. Share, don't force. Let them taste, and taste what they have to offer. It works both ways.
Well, actually, if someone offers me something with chicken broth, fish, or any other meat product in it, I'll have to respectfully decline.
Because, you know, I'm a vegetarian and, therefore, don't eat meat products.
Not preaching, not belittling, not forcing anything on anyone else -- just asking others to respect my choices, as I respect the choices that others make.
I WANT people to taste and see that food with out meat can be good and satisfying.
This is great! I agree with the people who suggested leaving the fake meat out. My daughter wanted to be a vegetarian for a while, and we tried almost every type of fake meat we could find. Most of that stuff, to an omnivore, is revolting. I'm sorry, but it is, just as chicken broth or butter is revolting to you. If you want to encourage omnivores to eat less meat--which is a great thing!--I recommend not using those ingredients.
