Everspring cleaning products sold at target. They said cruelty free but don't say if it contains animal products in them or not. I just want to know if all of these ingredients are vegan and if not then which ones are not?
made of: water (purified water), lactic acid, (corn), sodium gluconate (corn), caprylyl glucoside (corn, coconut and palm kernel oils), myristyl glucoside (corn, coconut and palm kernel oils), citric acid (corn), fragrance, bergamot oil, lemon oil, basil oil, proprietary surfactant blend (corn, rapeseed, palm kernel oil, and synthetic). (parenthesis state source of ingredient).
made of: water (purified water), lactic acid (corn), ethyl alcohol (corn), polysorbate 20 (corn, synthetic), caprylyl glucoside (corn, coconut and palm kernel oils), fragrance, lemon oil, mint oil, myristyl glucoside (corn, coconut and palm kernel oils). (parenthesis state source of ingredient).
These vegan cleaning products are expensive. They have several at Target and only 1 costs the same price I am paying for but vegans who use this product are saying that it's only for mild cleaning and doesn't disinfect that well so I won't be buying it. The others costs more than what I already pay for non-vegan cleaning products and less of it comes in the packaging so I decided to remain plant based.
Some people don't consider palm oil vegan because of how destructive it is to the habitats of some endangered and vulnerable animal species.
By that criteria, nothing farmed is vegan. Every field of soybeans or any other crop was a thriving forest, grassland, or wetland full of diverse animal habitats, and even crop fields are home to a multitude of animals including burrowing mammals like rabbits and ground squirrels, numerous types of rodents, innumerable insect species, reptiles, etc. all of which are destroyed when the field is harvested, plowed, or treated with '-cides'.
Even deer bed down in corn fields, and people who drive combine harvesters report seeing baby deer go under the machinery as they harvest the crop.
