It will never replace the one we just lost, but it'll bring us joy and we'll be able to give another animal a loving home. My little remaining furball is so lonely cause he's always had others to be with. I'm looking for a kitty or grown cat who would be homeless.

SeeBee, you snapped that pic at the perfect time. It is SO cute.
Just in case everyone isn't aware of this~SeeBee was the original promoter for us to have our own spot here and I thank her for that.
Thanks for the good wishes, and thanks to SeeBee for promoting this subforum!

Pets, yes, or animal companions as I like to call them. There are 6 dogs in our household, ranging from the largest, a boxer, to the smallest, a chihuahua. All are rescues with 5 of the 6 being labeled "unadoptable" for various reasons. 2 cats also reside with us, both strays, and both, believe it or not, were declawed and abandoned in our neighborhood. It's a lively, interesting furry family.

Clem, you just made me realize that I called them "Pets". In real life, we call them "the kids".

I'm so sorry for the loss of your cat. I lost mine to cancer and CRF on 12/08/07, at the age of 15.

I have a few minnows, a crayfish, a small manx cat, and a dachshund/chihuahua dog who turns 13 next year. Second oldest is the goldfish I got when I was about 13, who's a little over 6 years old right now.

I have 2 black labs. The kids would like more pets, but we travel too much and it is too hard to find someone to watch them.

One of my labs had an accident all over the living room carpet this am....not a good day for me to express my love of pets!

We have two kitties. They are like our children. I inherited them from my wife. I tell you these cats have traveled more than I have. They have lived in Japan, Philadelphia, and now they are retired in Hawaii. Lucky Cats!
