I did a search as you used to be on so many forums and I hadn't seen many posts from you in awhile (ironically, I first joined C-D to learn about a possible move to VT on my own end that never happened, partially because I was shocked at the costs, even though I'm from one of the few places (essentially where you're from, but not Long Island, just near it)) where it's even more expensive. When I saw you moved back to Long Island after all your rants about how expensive, etc. it was/is there, I feared that it was another one of those in the bad economy who was "forced" to move back in with family.

If you are seeing this, I hope all is well, and good luck being back in NY, hope it works out for you.

Glad to see you got out. You guys should consider Maryland, it's a happy medium. I left Vermont in 1994 and have yet to regret it. It's not for everyone. Good luck.
