I don't doubt that you have been good tenants - most of mine have been after all.

You know what? If it were me I wouldn't waste any more time with the PMs at all. To **** with them.

If you don't know who the owner is by now, call the town clerk's office and find out. That is the guy I would go after. Once you have turned over the keys and the apartment has been shown to be in the same condition (minus normal wear an tear) as when you moved in, the OWNER has 14 days to return your security deposit. Where he gets it is his problem. If he is in line for the distribution of the PMs assets that is his deal, not yours.

Call an attorney and tell him/her this story with names, dates and facts. This really stinks to high heaven.

why not call the attorney general's office first and see if they can do anything free. worked for me.
