It's been a great summer for the blueberry patch. This patch is on public land in nearby GMNF.

This is such a great picture. I was just in the Morris maple syrup farm in Montpelier and they had blueberry picking there too and that was the first time I ever seen blueberry picking.

Sorry for the typo --- yes Morse farm. We went wild over the maple syrup and creme sample station. The woodcarvings were epic!

could you share any good spots around here for my wife.. she'd be thrilled. She has found blackberries (i think) and had some strawberries on Mt Ellen but haven't seen any blueberries.

This patch is at Blueberry Lake. Park the car at the end of Blueberry Lake Rd, the patch is on the left about 100 feet from the lakes edge.

do you know if there are any free for picking apple trees? or if not any pay for pick orchards around?

every time i roll past this tree on route 17 ... it smells very sweet. i'm guessing its an apple tree (not crab apple?) based on the very sweet smell of the smashed up apples on the road (i don't know much about apple trees though). it's on the mill brook side of the road but might be owned by the mad river barn or something.
