First off. Just spent the day riding around VT on my motorcycle and spending the night in St. Johnsbury. The damage I saw today from Rutland on was just unbelievable. I hope the state recovers quickly and I'm trying to spend a little tourist money while I'm here.

In Brattleboro, which may be the most "liberal" town in Vermont, every other car seems to be a Subaru. Lots of Foresters and Outbacks. A fair number of Imprezas. Fewer Legacys and Tribecas.

i love vermont, not a liberal but I have vacationed and lived in vt and owned a subaru(Loyale-4x4 great car in the mtns, a volvo wagon older, new volvo wagon and now a big 4x4 truck(american). I loved them all but I do see lots of volvos and subarus on the road there, also tundras (wicked cool).
