Interested in getting some Vermont city-data suggestions on good places to stay for a bacholer party in Killington VT.

I'm planning it for someone that snowboards often, yet I do not ski/snowboard.

I'm picking Killington in that it has a good nightlife, and good skiing. I was considering a house rental but it seems it would be more work with driving to the town and mountain. I understand the lodges provide shuttle service from the mountain and into the bar/resturant area.

As someone who is unfamiliar with the area and never been could you make some suggestions? I'm unfamiliar with how to approach a ski vacation as well, such as what to the people not skiing snowboarding do all day.
