Somehow, I also feel that flipping contracts and manipulating the market is socially irresponsible. But fixing up a house and improving its value? I have mixed feelings about that. It is not manipulative, I don't think.

If I move up, I may just buy some rental property. I'm not a construction person, so I don't think I'm cut out for that flipping business anyway. Also, I have seen houses stay on the market in the Brattleboro area for a very long time.

I am in the process of educating myself about real estate matters.
